At HR Equestrian, we believe some of the best experiences in horses happen beyond the home farm. We love helping riders explore new places, try new disciplines, and experience the horse world from a different perspective.

Three to four times each year, we travel to England for an immersive equestrian experience featuring traditional trail hunting, British team chasing, hunter trials, and show jumping. These trips offer riders the opportunity to experience the traditions, culture, and variety of British riding while developing their skills and making memories that last well beyond the journey home.

Riding in England

Our trips offer a taste of the British equestrian tradition, with opportunities to experience several exciting disciplines:

Trail Hunting
Experience the English countryside on horseback, following an established trail across beautiful fields, rolling hills, and country lanes. Trail hunting offers a unique way to explore the landscape and experience the traditions of British country riding.

British Team Chasing
A thrilling team sport in which groups of three or four riders tackle a cross-country course of solid fences, working together to complete the course as efficiently as possible. Team chasing combines bold riding, teamwork, and the excitement of galloping across the countryside.

Hunter Trials
A popular British cross-country competition featuring natural fences, inviting obstacles, and varied terrain. Hunter trials challenge horse and rider to navigate a course with confidence, balance, and a forward-thinking approach.

Show Jumping
From schooling sessions to competitions, jumping in England gives riders the chance to experience different arenas, courses, and approaches to the sport while continuing to build their confidence and ability.

Our passion for travel goes beyond the trips we organize. We love preparing riders for their own equestrian adventures, wherever in the world they may lead.
